In a major announcement that promises to benefit millions of highway travelers, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has confirmed the launch of an Annual FASTag Pass for private vehicles. Starting August 15, 2025, private car owners can travel on national highways for up to 200 trips a year by paying just ₹3,000!

💡 What Is the FASTag Annual Pass?

This pass is designed for non-commercial private vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans. For just ₹3,000 per year, users will get up to 200 toll-free trips across all NHAI-managed national highways and expressways. It’s ideal for daily commuters, frequent travelers, and families who regularly drive long distances.

  • ❗ Know the Limitations

    • Only valid on national highways and NHAI toll plazas

    • State highways and private expressways (like the Mumbai–Pune Expressway) are not included

    • After 200 trips or 1 year, you'll need to renew the pass

    • Not applicable for commercial vehicles like trucks or taxis
